One of the biggest questions that people have nowadays has to do with the idea of Titan Poker and Macintosh machines. There are a fair number of online poker players around nowadays that use Apple computers and for those people, a new software solution needs to be developed. In this regard, there is both good news and bad news as far as Titan Poker is concerned.
Titan Poker is not directly compatible with Macs computers and there are no plans to make a special program in the near future for mac exclusivly. However a PC emulator such as Microsoft Virtual PC can be used to play Titan Poker for Mac.
The bad news is that there is no one-step solution available at the moment for you to run Titan Poker on your Macintosh machine. The two fixes that Playtech is working on at the moment are making their software available to play over browsers and making a downloadable version that is actually compatible with the Mac O/S setup. Both of these fixes are still in the development stages and for that reason Mac users should not expect them to come out anytime within the near future.
That having been said however, there are some options out there for Mac users that would like to play with the Titan Poker service right now. By far the most reliable of these fixes is to run a Windows emulator on your Mac O/S, something along the lines of the Parallels software that is currently available. Emulators for the most part are not free, but it might be possible to find some freeware Windows emulation software if you are diligent enough in searching for it. If you are able to run a Windows emulation tool on your Mac O/S, all you need to do is install Titan Poker on that emulation tool and you are then good to go.
