Blighted by encryption issues and major tournaments online, the CEREUS Network move down from sixth largest worldwide to ninth base on the pokerscout. After two weeks, the network which comprises the ub and the Absolute Poker take the sixth spot.
The pokerscout Weekly Online Poker Traffic Update announced that CEREUS advanced Everest Poker, Boss Media's International Poker Network, and the Microgaming Network for its landing on the sixth place. pokerscout allegedly stated the breakdown of CEREUS for two weeks, "The reason for the bounce is unknown, but it does not appear to be related to the network's announcement a week earlier that it had patched all remaining security holes in its client-server communication. A larger than usual bad beat jackpot may have contributed to the late-week climb."
Going with the topic are the Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series (MiniFTOPS) and the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), that will take place on May 16th.
As reported by pokerscout, CEREUS Network has a seven-day running nearly 2,350 real money ring game players and a total of 3,250 for their 24-hour service. During May 21 and 22 CEREUS gathered more than 4,000 cash game players.
Currently, ub is offering lots of promotions such as 25-Seat Guarantee that will lead players all the way to Las Vegas.
