Most people conclude that playing poker is addictive. But in the case of trapped Chilean Miners take it as a past time to prevent losing their senses.  As the former Chilean soccer hero, 53-year-old Franklin Lobos take part in the 80s, he show off his perfect free kicks. As he retired in '95 he work as  a miner and unluckily trapped with 32 miners.

Recently, the daughter of Lobo's said that the survival of is father is not totally attached to his accomplishment as a football player.  As she stated, "It will be difficult, I'm sure, but I'm not worried about him. I know he is happy and content down there because he is playing lots of poker and cards. It is good for his mind."

They were stranded for 17 days.  The means of their pass time I playing poker. The game that keeps their senses alive. During  the incident, 44-year-old Esteban Rojas  offer a proposal to Jessica Yanez, as Rojas said, Please keep praying that we get out of this alive. And when I do get out, we will buy a dress and get married."

Poker is been a great help for the miners to keep up with the boredom as they fight for survival.
