The four armed gunmen who robbed at the European Poker tour where labelled as "small time crooks" by a German Police.
New details on the robbery that took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel during the European Poker Tour Berlin are announced. Most of the details are contrary to the earlier reports that were circulating. It was stated before that the suspects used rifles or hand grenades but now it was cleared that what the suspects had used was a handgun and a machete. Another contradiction to the previous news, the amount of money that was taken was substantially less.
According the police, the security present at the time of the robbery in the hotel is unarmed and there is only limited number of responders who came to the distress call. There were no casualties however, the incident made a bad impression. Minimal security and a hotel intern is definitely not enough to provide security for a big event being held. It is negligence in the part of the hotel management.
The event continued however, according to Kevin "ImaLuckSac" Macphee it should be stopped. It was a scary experience for all players present in the event. he even added that there is poor floor planning in the area.
